The Table is Set for Lakers/Celtics Finals:

The NBA Playoffs continue this weekend, as two teams have a
2-0 advantage. The Los Angeles Lakers look like a even better than in
previous series. Kobe Bryant is playing like he was born for the playoffs.
Bryant scored 40 and 21 points in each game, respectively. He was so
efficient in game one, shooting 13-23 from the field and 11-12 from the free
throw line. He showed by he's the best playoff player in the NBA now.
Bryant's latest sidekick, Pau Gasol scored 29 points and nine rebounds in
game two. Gasol's always played well with Bryant and should continue to give
fits to Amare Stoudimire and other members of the Sun's front line. Jason
Richardson seems to be one of the most complete players for the Suns. He had
15 points in game one and exploded in game two, scoring 27 points. Steve
Nash continues to deal out the assists in the series. It's the Lakers front
line that continues to slow the game down and Gasol, Odom and Ron Artest
dominate inside. Expect the Suns to win at least one game at home, most
likely game four. The Lakers seem to be unstoppable and Bryant is poised to
win his fifth ring in June.
In the Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics hold a 2-0 series lead
too. The Orlando Magic are a better team than what they've been playing. The
depth of the Celtics is proving to be too much for the Magic. Paul Pierce's
resurgence after the Cavs series also spells doom for the Magic. Expect
Dwight Howard and co. to win at least one game in Boston, but don't expect
too much else from the Magic. Rajon Rondo continues his growth too.
It should be fitting that the Celtics and Lakers meet in the NBA Finals for
the second time in three seasons. Maybe the outcome will be different this
time, maybe not? The match ups in that series hark back to the Bird/Johnson
days. Commissioner David Stern, along with ABC want to see this series
happen. It's the two best franchises facing off the the title.
