Lebron leaves Cleveland signs with heat:

Well, the dye has been cast. Now most NBA fans expect the Miami Heat to win it all next season. LeBron James will bring his monetary influence along with his talent to South Beach to play with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. The impact of this triumvirate playing together won't truly be known for at least two decades. What happens if one of the players goes down with an injury? How much analysis will we have to watch on ESPN and the sports channels once the team loses. How much revenue will be lost in Cleveland and the NBA as a whole when the Quicken Loans Arena goes back to being half full each night.

This decision's impact ripples from the shores of Lake Erie, all the way to South Beach and west. The balance of power shifts back to the Eastern Conference. Something that hasn't happened since the days of Jordan in Chicago. The Phoenix Suns will be weaker without Amare Stoudimire. The Utah Jazz won't be as potent without Carlos Boozer. Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic are a few years removed from a trip to the NBA Finals. The aging Boston Celtics kept their core of quality veterans together. Cleveland will now be relegated to a football town that hasn't won a championship in a very long time.

SportsCenter will lead with every Miami Heat game. They have the best players assembled, but not enough to field a team. James admitted he needed help to win a championship. Well, he has it now. I can't wait to hear his excuse if the Heat come up short next season. Meanwhile, the rest of the NBA is now at the mercy of the Miami Heat. Pat Riley must figure out how these three superstars fit together. Wade is a better player than James because he already has a ring. Bosh doesn't have any real playoff experience. James just wants to continue to grow his brand and win championships. I'm tired of all this talk and speculation. Let's tip off and see which team takes down the juggernaut that will be the Miami Heat next season.
